From December 2024 to March 2025, and again in November 2025, Seabourn will offer captivating voyages aboard the Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Quest, taking guests through the heart of Southeast Asia and Japan. Southeast Asia and Japan on Seabourn Encore
Seabourn Encore will offer an unforgettable winter 2024 and spring 2025 season, featuring seven Southeast Asia voyages between Singapore and Hong Kong. These sailings, ranging from 13 to 14 days, allow guests to immerse themselves in the beauty and diversity of countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Standout experiences include the Caviar in the Surf event at Koh Kood, Thailand, and overnight stays in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Starting on March 2, 2025, Seabourn Encore will embark on a 14-day Southeast Asia & Japan voyage from Singapore to Kobe, Japan. This itinerary includes maiden calls to Tokushima, Kochi, and Kobe, offering an enriching mix of cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. The ship will wrap up its season with a 25-day Japan & Hawaiian Islands Pacific Crossing, marking Seabourn Encore's first visit to the United States, featuring maiden calls at Wakayama, Japan, and a spectacular transpacific journey ending in Long Beach, California.
Springtime Exploration of Japan and Southeast Asia on Seabourn Quest
Seabourn Quest will set sail from March through April 2025, offering itineraries ranging from 14 to 34 days, with options to combine voyages for an in-depth exploration of Asia. Guests aboard Seabourn Quest will be treated to immersive experiences during Japan’s cherry blossom season, sailing to Japan’s northernmost and southernmost islands. Seabourn will also introduce the Pacific Passage: Golden Week to Glacier Bay, a unique 20-day voyage in April 2025, combining the vibrant Golden Week festivities in Japan with the stunning natural beauty of Glacier Bay, Alaska.
Fall 2025: Japan’s Autumn Landscapes on Seabourn Quest
Seabourn Quest returns to Japan in fall 2025 with a series of sailings from September to November, offering breathtaking views of Japan's autumn landscapes. Ranging from 12 to 41 days, these voyages will visit more than 20 destinations across Japan's four main islands, along with lesser-known gems in the southern islands. New destinations for Seabourn Quest include Akita, with its famous hot springs and samurai districts; Ishinomaki, known for its vibrant art scene; Niigata, celebrated for its coastal beauty; and Wakayama, home to impressive architecture and sacred sites.
New Shore Excursions for Japan
Seabourn is also launching two exciting new shore excursions in Japan, enhancing the cultural depth of its voyages:
- Very Best of Kobe: This full-day tour includes highlights such as the UNESCO-listed Himeji Castle, the serene Koko-en Garden, a Kobe beef lunch, and a visit to the Kiku-Masamune Sake Brewery Museum, where guests will learn about traditional sake-making.
