Oceania Cruises, renowned for its culinary and destination-focused voyages, has announced the early debut of its newest ship, Allura. Originally scheduled to enter service in late July 2025, Allura will now embark on her maiden voyage from Trieste, Italy, to Athens, Greece, on July 18, 2025. This early launch promises to offer an exceptional experience, sailing through the enchanting Eastern Mediterranean.
Allura's inaugural journey will be a six-day cruise from Trieste to Athens, featuring stops at stunning ports such as Rijeka, Croatia; Ravenna, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Kotor, Montenegro. This change in schedule comes as a delightful surprise, allowing passengers to experience Allura's luxury sooner than anticipated.
For those who were booked on the original inaugural voyage departing on July 24, 2025, Oceania Cruises has extended the opportunity to rebook the new maiden sailing. This exclusive pre-sale access ensures loyal customers can be among the first to experience this new addition to the fleet.

Following her Mediterranean debut, Allura will venture to Canada and New England for immersive North American voyages. As winter approaches, she will homeport in Miami, offering a series of luxurious Caribbean cruises. For those new to the brand, Oceania Cruises is introducing a unique four-day "Taste of Oceania Cruises" voyage from New York, scheduled for September 30 - October 4, 2025. This short yet enriching cruise offers a perfect introduction to Oceania's ultra-premium experience.
Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises, expressed his excitement: "Thanks to the progress made by our valued partners at Fincantieri, we are thrilled to bring Allura into service a week earlier than planned. I'm excited to present Allura on a one-time taster voyage to showcase the ship to aspirational travellers who are looking to sample an ultra-premium cruise experience, and even better, sailing from downtown Manhattan, the heart of New York City."
Oceania Cruises is celebrated for its culinary offerings, and Allura is set to elevate this reputation further. Newly appointed Executive Culinary Directors, Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, are crafting fresh, innovative menus across all onboard dining venues. A highlight will be the new Crêperie, a first for the brand, offering customisable crêpes and waffles.
Chef Alex shared his enthusiasm: "Oceania Cruises is a cruise line founded by foodies, for foodies, and food is at the heart of everything we do. The team and I are busy testing and tasting a wonderful array of waffles and crêpes, which will be enjoyed by our guests next year aboard Allura. Our guests will be able to customise their waffles and crêpes, which will all be made to order, to be perfectly personalised."
In addition to the Crêperie, over 300 new recipes are being developed for The Grand Dining Room, promising a culinary journey like no other.
As the eighth vessel in the Oceania Cruises fleet, Allura continues the tradition of providing luxurious and intimate travel experiences. Some of her standout features include:
