Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), renowned for its innovation in global cruise travel, has announced an exciting expansion of its 2026 Spring/Summer season. With a strong focus on port-immersive experiences, NCL is offering a wide variety of seven-day Europe cruises with minimal or no sea days, allowing guests to fully explore their destinations. The expanded offerings also include longer voyages, giving travelers more opportunities to immerse themselves in the rich cultures and histories of the regions they visit.

A Season of Unforgettable European Adventures

The 2026 Spring/Summer season will see NCL introducing 225 new voyages, with an impressive 150 unique ports of call across Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Greek Isles. These itineraries have been designed with NCL’s guest-centric philosophy, offering travelers more choices than ever before. Whether guests are seeking a quick seven-day getaway or a longer, more immersive journey, NCL’s expanded lineup has something for everyone.

For the first time, NCL will be homeporting in Helsinki, Finland, adding another layer of convenience and accessibility for European travelers. Additionally, NCL will make its debut in several new ports, including Portree, Scotland; Leirvik (Stord), Norway; and Palamós, Spain. These new destinations promise to provide guests with unique and memorable experiences as they explore lesser-known parts of Europe.

Northern Europe: Explore the Baltic and Beyond

From June through October 2026, Norwegian Sun will offer a full Baltic season with seven- to 10-day sailings. Guests can embark in Copenhagen, Denmark, or the new homeport of Helsinki, Finland, and enjoy itineraries that include ports in Norway, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden. These voyages are designed for travelers who want to experience a new destination nearly every day.

Norwegian Sky will also be offering unique seven-day open-jaw sailings to the Northern Capitals, with embarkation options in Le Havre, France, and Copenhagen, Denmark. These itineraries include an overnight stay in Hamburg, Germany, and visits to Zeebrugge, Belgium; Tilbury, United Kingdom; and IJmuiden, Netherlands. For those looking to explore the British Isles, Norwegian Sky will be cruising 10- and 11-day itineraries from May through September 2026, with a debut visit to Portree, Scotland.

Travelers seeking the long daylight hours of an Icelandic summer can embark on Norwegian Star for 10- or 11-day Extraordinary Journeys between Reykjavik, Iceland, and Southampton, UK. These open-jaw sailings offer an overnight stay in Reykjavik, providing ample time to explore Iceland’s stunning landscapes. In May 2026, Norwegian Star will make its inaugural visit to Leirvik (Stord), Norway, a picturesque town known for its attractive harbor and historical courtyards.

Mediterranean and Greek Isles: Sun-Soaked Shores and Ancient Wonders

Beginning in April 2026, Norwegian Viva, NCL’s newest ship, will cruise nine- and 10-day Western Mediterranean and Greek Isles voyages. These itineraries are designed for travelers who want to experience the best of the Mediterranean with minimal sea days. Highlights include overnight stays in Istanbul, Turkey, and visits to iconic destinations in Italy, Greece, Montenegro, and Croatia.

For those seeking a shorter Mediterranean escape, Norwegian Epic will offer a variety of seven-day open-jaw voyages between Barcelona, Spain, and Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy. These itineraries include visits to Nice/Monaco (Villefranche) and Marseille, France, as well as Messina, Salerno, and Livorno, Italy. Guests can enjoy up to 17 hours in port, allowing for extended shore excursions to nearby attractions such as Florence or Pisa.

Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Gem will also offer port-intensive cruises in the Mediterranean, with no sea days and extended stays in popular destinations such as Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, and Dubrovnik. These itineraries are perfect for travelers who want to immerse themselves fully in the Mediterranean lifestyle, enjoying late-night dinners, vibrant nightlife, and sun-soaked beaches.

Beyond Europe: Caribbean, Canada & New England, and the South Pacific

NCL’s offerings extend beyond Europe, with exciting itineraries in the Caribbean, Canada & New England, and the South Pacific. Norwegian Escape will offer seven-day roundtrip sailings to the Western Caribbean from New Orleans and Miami, with stops in Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatán, and Harvest Caye. These voyages are perfect for those looking to escape to warm weather and beautiful beaches.

For a truly unique experience, Norwegian Spirit will offer a variety of 11- to 13-day open-jaw South Pacific sailings, with embarkation options in Sydney, Papeete, Honolulu, and Lautoka, Fiji. These itineraries include visits to New Caledonia, Fiji, Samoa, French Polynesia, and Hawaii, offering guests a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore some of the world’s most remote and beautiful destinations.

NCL’s “Fire and Ice” voyages aboard Norwegian Spirit will combine the best of Alaska and Hawaii in a single journey. These 16-day sailings, available from July through September 2026, offer embarkation options in Honolulu or Vancouver, and include visits to iconic destinations such as Maui, Kauai, Ketchikan, and Juneau.
