This monumental agreement marks the beginning of the construction of two groundbreaking ships that are set to elevate high-end cruising to new heights.

Crystal Cruises, long celebrated for its exceptional cruise experiences, is set to push the boundaries of luxury travel with its two new ocean ships. Scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2028, these ships promise to offer unparalleled comfort and sophistication. Each ship will accommodate 690 passengers (based on double occupancy) and boast a gross tonnage of 61,800, ensuring spacious and lavish surroundings for all guests.
Innovative Design and Unmatched Comfort
The design of these new vessels will be spearheaded by prominent architectural firms Studio Ibsen, led by Prof. and Architect Adriana Granato, and Studio Gem, headed by Naval Arch. Giacomo Mortola and Naval Eng. Lorenzo Mortola. A third international design firm is yet to be announced. The interior design will feature exquisite marbles, Italian fabrics, and natural materials, reflecting a level of elegance typically reserved for high-end private residences.
One of the standout features will be a promenade that extends around the entire perimeter of the ships, reminiscent of the beloved promenades on Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity. This design element allows guests to enjoy leisurely strolls while taking in stunning ocean views.
Culinary Excellence and Exclusive Entertainment
Culinary enthusiasts aboard the new Crystal ships will be delighted by a diverse array of dining options. These will include Umi Uma, the only Nobu restaurant at sea, and the recently announced Beefbar. This commitment to world-class cuisine ensures that every meal is an extraordinary experience.
In addition to culinary delights, Crystal will continue its tradition of offering exclusive entertainment options. Guests can enjoy sophisticated shows, a variety of gaming options in the elegant casino, and a comprehensive spa and state-of-the-art fitness center.
