The 'Majestic Japan' cruise is designed to offer an immersive exploration of Japan's rich culture and natural beauty. Departing from Seattle, Washington, the 53-day journey includes 21 ports of call, with a significant focus on Japan. Guests will have the chance to explore the vibrant cities and serene landscapes of Japan during the fall, a season known for its stunning autumn foliage.

Chef Morimoto will join the Westerdam on September 24 in Osaka, sailing to Kochi, Sakaiminato, Toyama, and his hometown of Hiroshima. Visiting Hiroshima on September 26 will be a poignant moment for both the chef and the guests, as he shares personal stories and culinary traditions from his upbringing. This program allows guests to enjoy destination-inspired menus that reflect the local flavours of the regions they visit. The program’s commitment to sustainability is underscored by certifications from the Marine Stewardship Council and the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, highlighting the cruise line's dedication to serving high-quality, responsibly sourced seafood.

Additionally, there is a 19-day segment from Seattle to Yokohama available prior to Chef Morimoto’s embarkation.

Cruise-only fares for the full 53-day 'Majestic Japan' voyage start at $7,894 per person, based on double occupancy. This fare includes taxes, fees, and port expenses, ensuring a comprehensive and hassle-free travel experience.
